OUR STORY

Massafra's Apizza is inspired by "apizza" (pronounced "ah-beets"), a style of pizza that originated in New Haven, Connecticut, the Pizza Capital of the World. This style was born from early Italian immigrants who started bakeries that eventually evolved into pizzerias, many of which have been in operation for over 100 years. These pizzerias set the standard for pizza-making that is now followed all over the world.

 

We believe that great pizza is made from the finest ingredients, a dash of tradition, and a lot of heart. Our journey began with a simple yet profound idea: to bring New Haven style pizza to Central Texas. The Massafra family has always had a love for cooking. Growing up in a big Italian family, fresh cooked food was a constant presence, always bringing people together. That’s what we strive to do with our pizza.
